TomTom-powered Renault R-Link available in new Renault vehicles

IAA, Frankfurt, 10 September 2013 – From today, the Renault R-Link built-in connected multimedia tablet, featuring TomTom technologies is available in new Renault vehicles.

Renault R-Link, with a 7-inch touchscreen display, is powered by TomTom technology, content and real-time services including TomTom maps, navigation and Traffic. In ZOE, and New Kangoo ZE, R-Link also displays electric vehicle management information, such as the available range and routes to nearby charge points. In addition, drivers can download apps to further enhance the functionality of the system.

TomTom collaborated with its partner Orange and Atos to develop the eco-system that power the R-Link App store.

The Renault R-Link system is now available in ZOE, New Clio, Captur, New Megane line-up, Scenic X-mod, New Scenic and Grand Scenic, Fluence, Laguna 2013 Collection, Latitude, New Kangoo, Kangoo Express and Kangoo ZE.

Renault R-Link is the most complete end-to-end connected driving solution for the mass-market today.

R-Link system is priced as an option at €590 (depending on models and countries). The LIVE Services offer is priced at €69,90 per year (depending on countries).
