Amsterdam, 19 October 2011 – TomTom today announces that it will launch TomTom HD Traffic in Czech Republic enabling drivers to take the fastest route to their destination based on the most accurate and real time traffic information. TomTom HD Traffic is currently available in 23 countries.

TomTom HD Traffic is generated from a network of over 80 million probes. It covers 99.9% of the road network, covering traffic jams on main roads as well as secondary and local roads. With this complete and accurate overview of the situation on the road network, which is updated every other minute, drivers are assured of getting to their destination the most efficient way.

TomTom HD Traffic will be available in Czech Republic on the GO LIVE 820, GO LIVE 825 and the GO LIVE 1005, offering dynamic routing based on the real-time HD Traffic feed, at retail stores and from online retailers and online via www.tomtom.com/livetraffic/
