TomTom and Vauxhall Unveil Cooperation
7 March 2005, UK TomTom, a leading personal and in-car navigation solution provider, today announced cooperation with Opel to bring plug and go navigation to the popular Opel Corsa. A special edition of the Corsa will be rolled out across Western Europe starting as of April 1, 2005 with TomTom GO, TomTom’s award winning all-in-one navigation device, as standard equipment.
Providing even further functionality and style to the popular Opel Corsa, this deal will ensure Opel Corsa drivers will have an easy to use, personal and portable car navigation solution whether they are zipping around the city, or on a weekend road-trip with friends.

Select Corsa cars sold throughout Europe will come with a TomTom GO that each driver can simply take out of the box, turn on and begin navigating with no installation needed. The TomTom GO will come with full maps of the driver’s country.
Through TomTom GO, Opel Corsa drivers will have the most popular all-in-one portable car navigator.
