Amsterdam, 19 September 2008 - TomTom NV, the world’s leading provider of navigation solutions and digital maps, today announces that the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) approved the appointment of Mr Alain De Taeye as member of the Management Board for a term of 4 years, effective as of 19 September 2008.

The relevant components of his employment contract will be disclosed in the Annual Report 2008.

The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders also approved the appointment of Mr Ben van der Veer as member of the Supervisory Board for an initial term of four years, effective as of 1 October 2008. His term of service with KPMG formally ends on 30 September 2008.
