TomTom Supervisory Board chairman resigns for health reasonsAmsterdam, 29 September 2005 Benno Hoogendoorn has decided to resign as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TomTom N.V. with immediate effect for health reasons.

He also resigns as board member of the Foundation Continuity TomTom.

"Benno joined TomTom’s supervisory board four months ago as our first chairman. During those four months, Benno made an important contribution to our company, both in his role as chairman but most importantly in providing us with sound and solid advice at a critical stage in the development of our company. We wish Benno a speedy recovery." said Harold Goddijn, chief executive officer of TomTom
