Mr. Browne to step down from Supervisory Board after the AGM
Amsterdam, 20 March 2008 - Andrew Browne, Chairman of our Supervisory Board, will step down from the Supervisory Board immediately after the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held in Amsterdam on 23 April 2008. He will be replaced by Karel Vuursteen, who has been a member of the Supervisory Board since April 2007. Mr. Browne has been a member of the Supervisory Board since May 2005 and Chairman since April 2006.

Andrew Browne has said “it has been an honour to have been associated with TomTom from the time prior to the company going public and subsequently as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. During this period TomTom has become the global industry leader for navigation solutions and the company is well poised and positioned to continue this journey going forward. The reason for stepping down at this time is due to the opportunity and desire to pursue the creation of an enterprise foundation for the development of technology and economics. I would very much like to thank my colleagues on the Supervisory Board, Harold and the entire TomTom team for our close working relationship and combined success over the last three years”.

Harold Goddijn, CEO of TomTom has said “I would very much like to thank Andrew for the commitment and leadership he has provided to TomTom over the last three years during a period of unprecedented growth and development of the company. I appreciate Andrew’s decision to pursue his new endeavour, and I am very pleased that Karel will assume the position of Chairman. TomTom will continue to benefit from Karel’s extensive experience and knowledge as an executive and supervisory board member of some of the world’s largest global business enterprises.”
